Cookie policy

Essential sign-in cookies
IELTSist uses an essential, secure sign-in cookie to maintain an authenticated session. A separate functional guest cookie can protect a guest objective-practice attempt before sign-in. These are used for authentication and secure attempt ownership, not advertising.
Browser storage
The app also uses browser storage for local drafts, timers, annotations, vocabulary review state, Coach history and recovery information. This lets a student return to unfinished work on the same browser and keeps different local users separated.
Control
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing them can sign you out and remove locally held unfinished work. Blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in and some secure submission flows from working.
No advertising claim
This policy covers the functional cookies and browser storage used by the current IELTSist deployment. It does not present a tracking or advertising cookie consent flow because none is configured in this application.
